Coaching Staff

Fred Albert has been a Recommending Scout with the Pittsburgh Pirates since 1997 and has coached the Allegheny Pirates since the team’s formation. Coach Albert has been coaching baseball for over 40 years.
Coach Albert was honored with 2013 Mid Atlantic Scouts Association Award (here).
Tom Hoffman- Coach
Tom has coached on the Allegheny Pirates for 13 plus years. He played college baseball and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates as a pitcher. He has coached at various levels including high school head coach.
Patrick Sadler- Coach
Patrick joined the staff four years ago. He has played high school, college and professional baseball. He is currently the lead instructor at the AHN Baseball and Softball Academy at Cool Springs. He was also an Allegheny Pirate from 1998-2000.
